it sound like the valves snapped or there passing you would be better off changing them an id use a bit on jointing compound like jet blue on the compression.

can you hear or see the spark across the probe ? if there is a spark it could b the gap on the prob, split or corroded ht lead, or the gas solinode valve i cant really see 2 pcbs giving you the fault tho, its possible but to me that would be a bit of bad luck :(

id agree with chris mate sounds like theres sumthink further down blocking it did the water come out the access cap or did it run down the pipe to the drain ?

from the problem your discribing is the hot water gos hot then cold then hot? this could b the domestic hot water thermistor stat reading faulty does the boiler make a singing noise like a kettle boiling?

from what i can gather your saying mate, you would be right remove any supply to the old controls an fit a 3amp fused spare to the boiler the new RF system you have will be suplied by the boiler its self, follow the instructions that came with it they are plug and play

you can vent a boiler to the front of a house providing its not with in 600mm of next doors boundary, so if you must have 600mm then your flue terminal, also it depends on the total length the boiler manufacture states. its fine to run internal flue providing its falling back to the boiler and...

dont do it just dont !!!!! if cheap an cheerfull your after go for a baxi main there same as the baxi's but cheaper coz they arn't baged up as baxi yet they are made in same factory an have same parts just dont waste your money on crap
