    Viessmann 200 Modulation range

Haha, thanks. Not so much, just that's what the plumber had originally talked about it. Will rotate the pdf now and re-upload. Excellent point on the coil rating, so I'm guessing unless I need to heat the house with all the windows open, it'll probably never be utilised!

    Viessmann 200 Modulation range

Hi, I've been speaking with my plumber and also with Viessmann and appear to be getting different answers, so wondered if anyone had any thoughts. Looking at the Viessmann 200 system range, the modulation range for the 26kw and the 35kw appear quite different, with them both going down to the...

Installation of System boiler above unvented cylinder

Thanks both for the info. Looks like I'll need to speak to the builder to see if there's a better way of doing this if possible. Between 4-6 people staying at the house so a 150l maybe a bit too on the small side. Presuming there's no problem with having a boiler further away from the...

Installation of System boiler above unvented cylinder

I'd appreciate any help with the following, though realise it's limited info. We have a small utility room, and are upgrading our boiler. We're thinking of going for either a large combi storage (Viessmann 222) or potentially a system/unvented cylinder approach. The question is, is anyone...

Opentherm System Boilers for Nest v3

Previous house I found a difference from one floor to another. This one probably more so, as a mixture of UFH and rads.

Opentherm System Boilers for Nest v3

Thanks. Had a look at the wave but it cant handle more than one zone according to WB which seems an oversight.

Opentherm System Boilers for Nest v3

Thanks for everyones help. Am I right in thinking that even if an Opentherm System Boiler is purchased, it'll need an (own brand?) adaptor to be fitted onto the boiler, or will it be compatible with an opentherm thermostat right out the box?

Opentherm System Boilers for Nest v3

With you now. Remote access is handy as we have family who use our place when we go away, so being able to turn the heating off when they're gone is useful. I'm guessing if remote were not needed, there's more opentherm thermostats that fit the bill?

Opentherm System Boilers for Nest v3

Just opentherm I believe. The wifi access for external temperature etc is handled by Nest, so I believe all is need is the opentherm control. Seems very odd how we're behind on the heating side of things, especially with our climate!

Opentherm System Boilers for Nest v3

Thanks for all the replies. I saw on Nest's site that the Opentherm implementation seems not 'fully' implemented, but reading some other sites it appears it's coming in a future firmware update (or here's hoping) in the next couple of months. So am I right in thinking that an Opentherm...

Opentherm System Boilers for Nest v3

We're currently in the midst of a complete refit of our house, extending into loft and ending up with three bathrooms. As we used to have a vailant combi which struggled when more than one tap was run, we've decided to go for a system boiler. And once I started researching thermostats, system...
