    What brand of radiator?

Hi, I've moved into an old house with old heating network. If I were to replace the radiators with modern ones which brand/type do you recommend? If not I may take them off one by one and clean them out with a hose.

    Pressure for sealed heating system...

I actually put Fernox F5 in the old one system before we had the new boiler and flushed it after five days so it shouldn't be that bad right now. Why is it every job you do you feel you are better off doing it yourself? We had underfloor heating laid too in the bathroom before it was...

Merci Bien Monsieur! Do you have to be French to do this too? I'll make sure I swear in French if things start going wrong.

    Pressure for sealed heating system...

Thanks Mandate. So I have to keep my eyes on it for a few days to make sure the cold pressure always sits at 1 bar and no lower as it may lose pressure as air is lost with bleeds. :)

    Pressure for sealed heating system...

Well the plumber has been paid already so I'm doing his work for him. Actually trust myself to do it ok. I've done this before with a vented heating system (the old one). Wish me luck.

    Pressure for sealed heating system...

Hi, I'm going to attempt to drain and refill my heating later. I watch a really good YouTube video about how to do it and I'm confident I can do this easily. What pressure should I refill too on my sealed system. The video said 1 Bar but we have had issues circulating heat around before...

How long can Fernox F5 stay in for?

The bottle say to keep it in 7 days max I think. I'm worried it is bad to keep in too long. I'd flush it myself but I don't know how. We had a vented system before and I knew how to flsuh that but sealed I have no clue about. Its frustrating, its cost around £3,500 for the boiler with fitting...

How long can Fernox F5 stay in for?

Hi, We have just had a new Worcester Bosch External Heatslave 20/35 fit. It's been a nightmare. They said it would take two days and it took a week. We had no hot water and later we eventually got the plumber back to find it had been wired wrong. That now works. Fernox F5 has been in it...
