    Bathroom tiling on painted pasterboard

This is what you need. You'll get problems with the original tiles though since they won't have a tanking behind them the grout will leak!

    vent through roof

I did exactly this last year. What you need is one of these. Screwfix only do the 45 degree version, but if you go to a decent building supplier you should be able to find the straight version as well.

Resolving Damp Problems - What to do?

From your description it sounds like the ground level is above the DPC. Alas, you got bridging... What you are suggesting seems very reasoanble. If you can I'd lover the ground level around the outside wall 10-20 cm, leaving a small canal say 20 cm wide along the wall. Then leaving for a few...

Yes, I've tried it and it works. Gets a bit messy though, lots of wet sticky stuff! If you got a plasterboard ceiling it might not be the optimal solution though, tends to wet the paper as well... :(

    Heat Resistant Oven Cable

I've just done a very similar job fitting a single built in oven rated at 2.8kW. In the manual for the oven it stated to use butyl heat resistant 2.5mm2 cable. I'd suggest you have a look in the manual for your oven to see if the manufacturer specify a cable size/type. If they don't you...

    Oven Problem wiring

Is it a single oven? If it is most of them have a power rating just under 3kW so you can run them on a 13A socket. Check the rating of the oven. If it's less then 3kW it probably comes with a plug, or you can fit one.

    Flat Roof Extractor Fan

Why not stick it in the ceiling and go through the roof with the pipe? I did that in my bathroom (also a flat roof extension). Worked a treat! :) You'll have to stay off the curries though... ;)
