    A tad extreme advice there mate :roll: Have changed quite a few noisy meters over the last few yrs & namsags correct, just phone your supplier & request a new meter...sometimes its not the meter at all but could be the regulator or water pipes that sit close to meter.

    Contact supplier, its illegal for RGI to move any meters unless authorised by supplier, its one thing for engineers to move meters a few inches (usually internal) but another to move external meter boxes, if I was that engineer I wouldnt take on the job, not worth the risk.
