    Central Heating System

No offence, but, if you don't know how to lift floors or work out rad sizes what makes you think you can install a heating system  Best advice is to get someone who can lift floors etc, you can end up splitting chipboard up all over the place if you don't know what your doing with it.

    decomissioning old toilet

if it's a salt glaze collar chances are the plastic cap on the last post might not fit properly, best way is to remove W/C, if you have to break it out, if it's cemented in, be careful not to loose any pieces of W/C down the old salt glaze, stuff bags down or something to block off the svp, once...

    240E Hot water problem

the divvy valve on these are the same as the baxi equavalent, the baxi product is cheaper than the alpha part, alpha's have always been expensive on spare parts, the valve can also be rebuilt, it's up to you if you want an engineer to replace or repair. Pumped hot and cold supply in loft

softus, not here to have a slagging match, but you have overlooked the OP first sentence as i had overlooked the pillar taps, there must be a negative head situation for the hot to be pumped, still is better if fitting a pump, to pump both hot and cold, if not for now, as you suggested the OP...
