On demand oil boiler hot water?

I have to agree. I don't want to spend £10k to find that in 5 years they are half the price and double the efficiency.

On demand oil boiler hot water?

I was quoted £10k to get one installed. Apparently "it costs nothing to run". It can't possibly cost nothing to run?! I gather 1 unit of electric can equal 4 units of heat if you like. I'd like to know how much my bills would change before going for one of those.

On demand oil boiler hot water?

Right. I need one to replace the shonky 1920's one we have right now. A plumber the other day was trying to sell us an air pump central heating system. I'm sceptical about them. Apparently they don't get the water as hot as old fashioned ones and out house struggles to get up to temperature as...

On demand oil boiler hot water?

Hi Guys & Girls, Right now we have an oil boiler for our central heating and an old electric water heater for hot water which is costing us the earth to heat in electricity. The boiler is about 15 years old... Does an oil burner exist that can heat water on demand like the gas combi ones?

Not sure whether to pressurise central heating or not...

Hello, I'm disappointed to wake up today with one radiator!! One measly radiator and its not even that hot. We have a WSP ESE 125 three speed pump which is on full. It definitely works... and a Boulter Camray 3 which is quite a big oil boiler.

Not sure whether to pressurise central heating or not...

That actually makes sense. Godamnit... I don't think I will ever get this system balanced.... its blooming difficult. A plumber came over and showed me how to do it but said I should do it myself as it will be expensive to have a plumber there for a day to balance it up.

Not sure whether to pressurise central heating or not...

I've moved into a new house with 21 radiators. I have literally spent days trying to balance up the radiators... I have used Fernox F5 to clean it all out... I've flushed it twice. I think I'm getting somewhere balancing the rads turning the lock valves millimeters at a time but then next...

    Draton Tempus 7 to Digistat+3RF

Excellent thank you Stem. So to achieve that I will need to add an extra brown wire from the live to terminal 1 to extend it out if you like? I really hope this helps others too. :)

    Radiator Troubles

Hi, I moved into a new house recently and we have found that about 40% of the radiators don't work. Can anyone help an idiot like me? Some of the radiators have really hot pipes to them but they feel cold. I have bled them and clear water comes straight out. Whats wierd is that the valve is...
