Thanks . Yes can let you know . Not sure when as got other jobs to sort first . Think it will be either painting or just wipe down every so often . Don’t think be sand and cement anytime soon too much to do at moment

With wet wipe comes off and no change in colour . But then comes back week or two later . Would have been painted over a year and half ago . What is best solution going forward regarding what paint to use etc . Would just paint black again

Why would loft hatch access size be 15 inches by 15 Inches and be screwed shut ?

Thanks for reply . Yes the paint cracked after applying the Zinsser first without primer . Then tried paint again with Zinsser bullseye 123 primer then Zinsser perma white and still the paint flaked . Was hoping that the primer was going to make it okay . Not sure what previous paint was...

Use Zinsser bullseye 123 2 coats of the primer and then 2 coats of perma white Matt . Now is flaking . Where it has flaked when push finger in gap feels like plastic material on ceiling . Am I using correct paint and what is this plastic on ceiling
