Hi X400 is a soft cleaner designed to be removed after 4 weeks. The exact period is on the bottle. I would follow these instructions drain it down, flush it well then add inhibitor x100.

Hi If the pump is to be sited at the foot of the hot water cylinder the water from this source would be considered at positive head. The cold source if below the pump would be negative head and likely to draw air into the pump, damaging its bearings.

Hi The incoming strainer could be blocked, however to work on this part and other parts on unvented cylinders you should hold a G3 ticket. i recommend a plumber with the relevent knowledge.

Hi Turn off the working rads and see if the non working rads get hot. if this works balancing the rads is the likely problem. if not it could be a pipe blockage.

Hi A new washer might help but it sounds like there is something wrong with the head also. Take along tap head reviver kit as well.

Hi There are taps on the market that have built in filter option. That is hot/cold/filter, the one I have fitted at home was from howdens but I'm sure more exist. HTH

Hi Sounds like you have no lid on the cws tank. The bin liner material is insulation that should not be in the tank. And maybe restricting the flow to the tap. The boiler banging can be alot of things, some complicated and some less so. You might need an engineer to sort that out. HTH
