I spent 12 months at a Suzuki dealer :wink: Cracked blocks and front axle pivot bearings, that is all I can remember was a real problem with Jimny`s, other than that they are quite reliable :)

As you look at it from the front the badge should rotate clockwise, get hold of the left of the badge and lift upwards.

Check your door loom where it goes from the door into the body! The flexing as the door opens often breaks the wires, that might have caused the fuse to blow in the first place.

I dont think you can buy a new uncracked bit, have to get a whole new top! On the + side the new filter cap will prob come with a new O ring :D

Punctuation lol?? Start it without immobiliser first? You mean your key will not dis-arm the immobiliser? If so then its new key time, you have checked the battery in the key? Chances are it needs a new key.

Crank sensor is located in the gearbox bellhousing area towards the top. The connections in the plug can be dodgy as well as the sensor!

I have spent nearly a day bleeding one particularly awkward one once back in my Renault tech days! bled it forwards, backwards (brake calliper bleed screw to slave lol!) pressure bled, pumped peddle prob over 1000 times! Eventually it worked :lol: Renault Laguna no probs, Clio III - 2.0L...

Yes and a complete PITA to bleed! Is the clutch slipping?

Good solid engine! Coolant flowing out of that little pipe at the top is perfectly normal and proves your water pump impeller is still attached :D The only problem I have ever had with that engine is glow plugs! the problem being 1 would`nt shift and snapped! Don`t let that put you off though!!

Are the diesel MAF`s that much more than the Petrol MAF`s!? I had a gen VW MAF for my 1.8T Golf and it was £69 with the old unit returned! Is it £200 non exchange and maybe around £70 exchange?
