    Renault and the Diesel/Petrol decision

My philosophy on Renaults is this, if you must buy a Renault buy it new, then you should have 2.5 years of motoring where the faults (there will be some) will atleast be paid for by Renault, then with 6 months left on the warranty sell it! That way its still worth something and any problems are...

    Renault and the Diesel/Petrol decision

Biggest problem with the Scenic I assume post 54 plate? Is blank dash syndrome! Other than that windows and sometimes door locks, oh and heater blowers often fail due to melted wires, oh and Auto handbrakes are sometimes a problem, oh and Renault Gearboxes are generally weak. The engine its...

wiper repair-did I pay the right price?

VW by any chance? The price you paid seems fair for a strip, clean & lube, I have freed off my own wipers on my MK4 Golf and it took some elbow grease to free off the spindles!!

    Vauxhall Vivaro roof beacon light

You`re gonna have to trace the wire back to source, there might be an inline fuse inbetween the light supply and the switch.

water in the injectors on a vivaro 2009

I worked at Renault as a tech for around 1 year, Saw this a couple of times with the Renault Traffic, same van same engine, I think the rubber seal where the scuttle pannel meets the bonnet is typical french poor design and leaks, eats the engine loom away. I think Vauxhall are just using the...

    VW Golf "STOP" Check Coolant!

Water will be fine, if the coolant is not low its likely to be a faulty level sensor which is built into the header tank, this is common on Golf`s.

    A4 wiper in slow mode

If the A4 mech is anything like the Golf MK4 mech then its prob siezed up, it can be stripped, cleaned and lubed back up or you can buy new for around £40.

SEAT clocks replaced how do I keycode them

Chances are its the same as VW, if so you`ll need the SKC code and the appropriate diag tool with coding facility to code the cluster.

    CD Changer Golf 4Motion

It should not matter if its a DVD or not, it should still eject. Is it an in dash stand alone VW single CD player or the 6 disc? If its the VW single CD player you can remove the CD unit and unplug/replug it in and it should automatically eject the disc, If you don`t want to remove the unit...

    forte air intake cleaner

Probably not very, carbon+oil deposits in the EGR & intake mainfold are difficult to shift with good degreaser and a scraper!!

My VW Golf TDi suspention dropped!

Yep this is certain to be the cause of the bang/drop! Sounds like its gone somewhere in the middle for it to drop by so much! Don`t risk driving as it could rip your tyre to bits!

    Motherboard repair! asus m2n-sli deluxe

It would probably cost you more than this to get it repaired by anyone who knew what they were doing, IMO its not economical to repair motherboards. I guess its out of production as no one seems to have stock of the M2N SLI, is there a current equivilant you could replace it with maybe?
