If a warning light has come on due to low brake fluid there might be a problem, maybe low pads or a leak somewhere, is that why you are topping it up??

We have a few 1.8 TDCI`s on our fleet and they are very reliable, fault code scan is going to be handy in pinning down the problem! There is a chance it could be the EGR valve but even the EGR on these engines seems to have few issues!

You can feel movement in them if you lift both front wheels off at the same time, obviously with the use of 2 axle stands for safety :) Both wheels off the ground is how you should replace them else they will be under tension and that`s not good for removal/re-fitment. The Zafira should...

Unclip feed pipe, unclip Master to slave pipe, inclip push rod on pedal inside, twist cylinder (I think it is anti Clockwise) and pull, reverse the process for fitment. As for beeding, maybe run alittle fluid through the cylinder until it appears out of the outlet pipe (Master to slave pipe)...

Its perfectly normal, the frequency can be erratic, as Mursal says, if it stops its prob time to spend your hard earned!!
