    Hi Guys......I have often been tempted by alternative unbranded 18v batteries for sale at a considerably lower price than the branded item. I am talking particularly about Dewalt . Question is......has anyone out there got any experience of these unbranded batteries and if so was their experience?

    Without realising it Joe-90 puts forward a well supported taxation doctrine. The essense of which is the realisation that the lower the tax the less people seek to reduce the amount they pay. The net result is that by reducing the rate you get a bigger overall take.

    Thought I had given you enough info but John D is correct.....this is a farm house renovation and original spec, whilst more than adequate , does bring with it a few challenges where a bit of ingenuity is called for. I like the net idea but am now wondering what the issues are with wiring...

    Thanks Guys for your comments......i really needed confirmation that roll insulation at 200 mm would not compromise the job. To be honest roll is quicker and cheaper (£1000 cheaper) but I did not want to be swayed by the price.
