I had a carpet installed a couple of weeks ago. Due to the style of my bannisters the carpet fitter had to fold it and tack it at the sides. The problem is i now have dents all down one side on the treads and I think it looks awful.
The fitter has said he can’t remove the tacks as it’s a loop...
Ive just started stripping old anaglypta type wallpaper from my bathroom and underneath the anaglypta is what looks like bits of white fluffy cotton wool. I don’t know what it could be and i’m worried sick that it could be asbestos. Is this a possibility?
