    I use buteline all the time, buy enough of it and you'll get the tools for free, 28mm can be a bit cumbersome and you do have to plan ahead as getting the tool in can be difficult, it can do secondary hot water and they do ufh as well now.

    Sounds a very odd/poor system to me so the pipe has to heat the whole void, then through the spreader plate then through the floor!! Whats the point in the spreader plate?! You could try turning the temp up on the blending valve but the system sounds poorly designed/installed. Celotex between...

    The pipe should be laid in grooves on the spreader plates? Do you have carpet upstairs? Is there a separate manifold for upstairs?

    I use buteline all the time and haven't had a problem, the standard tools don't need calibrating either.

    Yes I've done loads, sometimes they do a starter kit that has the tools included or if you buy enough of it you get the tools for free.

    No I've never had a problem with it but it can be awkward to get the tool in sometimes so you do have to plan ahead, you also need adaptors to get back to copper which will need soldering on.

    I use buteline and like it but if this is the only bit of plumbing you are likely to do it won't be cost effective for you to use Bute, you'll have to buy the crimp tool which will cost you £90.

    Thats the diverter valve, a common leak point, the new one has been refesigned.

    No, the green prog light only flashes when you bind the stat and reciever. The red ch1 light should come on where theres a demand, pressing the ch1 button overides it temporarily giving the demand.
