Cheers, Ill have a gander. We had the rep out during the week and he couldnt explain why it was happening, he just replaced the components and took the others off to be examined. No doubt I will get a call in the next few weeks to it doing the same again :-(

Remember that the volume of soil will increase over what you have calculated you need to remove ;-)

Presumably since this was a housing association property the contractors should have been Gas Safe registered, inwhich case it serves to remind everyone, even the qualified how dangerous gas can be!

Thanks, I thought that might be one of the options and probably better as its a combi anyway. When using two programable stats i presume each one would be wired to a valve and then to the boiler. How would the wiring at the boiler end be done?

I wish to split my central heating into two zones. Can someone reconmend a progammer that with control two zone valves from two thermostats? Cheers
