inline strainer, gets all the dirt debris in the water, but make sure u service the strainer every few months or so,prevents debris & dirt get to the prv and any other valves after it
as suggested above go with the cistermiser hydraulic control valve. i installed 2 in a couple of months back, works with pressure drop in the same supply pipe to the urinals

i think that what ppl are trying to tell you. if ur downpipe to the underground sewer gets blocked then when you flush your toilet the waste in your toilet will be overflowing out of the hopperhead.
quite expensive taps, self venting taps is wat ur lookin 4.cant u vent the water heater? and how many litres is it?
