    Changing pop up waste bar

I have a tap to change on this so will have a new pop up waste bar. Is it possible just to just replace the washer and and little metal threaded connected that connects to the waste and the bar. Instead of replacing the hole waste?

    Small leak compression

What would be the best way of fixing this leak it doesn't drip just builds up like that after a day of the water being on. Thanks. Guessing it's on where the olive meets the pipe and the nut as opposed to the olive and valve body.

If fitting a drinking water fountain is a double check valve required?

It wouldn't no. Its just that as agile say spit etc could fall on the tap with it having an upward facing spout.
