    Sorry, perhaps I should have called it pressure release valve. This is what is leaking. I'm assuming from too much pressure but it would be good to know if this assumption was correct.

    Thank you for your reply. I do intend to buy a new gauge. I'm just trying to understand what's going on inside the boiler. I have indicators of the pressure being too low and too high.

    I have a Worcester cd24i combi boiler. A number of years ago the pressure gauge stopped working. I have it serviced every year by the same engineer and he told me that unless it starts causing problems I should leave it as it is. Every 6 months or so I re pressurise the boiler with the tap open...

    Boiler stopped working. Feeling cold please help

    I have a Worcester 24CDi combi boiler. It stopped working last night and I cannot get it going again. In the last few weeks the pressure has been dropping faster than it normally would. I do not have the money to get a heating engineer out to investigate and so I re pressurise the boiler...
