Thanks folks. So just to clarify...even though the 16mm tails between the 100A fuse and the meter seem inadequate, as long as the tails are 25mm on the consumer side of the meter, then that's my only concern. Right?

When checking an installation which has 16mm incoming tails to the 100A service fuse and the same size to the meter but 25mm tails from meter to cu, which part of the tails are we concerned about when comparing to the fuse? Cheers.

Hiya folks, The highest Zs from all the sockets is 0.48 ohms (which is, quite rightly, the last socket on the spur in the attic). By my calculations max loop for a B32 mcb protected circuit, taking into account the three-quarter rule, is approx 1.12 ohm, so I’m happy with that. Have I missed...

Are you sure? :? If there was a short circuit between live and neutral on a t&e cable with, say, 2.5mm2 live/neutral and 1.5mm2 earth, then wouldn't the PSCC be larger than the PEFC because of the respective CSAs? Or am I talking b****cks? :shock:
