    Pressure testing

If the air expands due to a leak you will see a pressure drop. Otherwise how on earth could you dry test pipework, or Gas pipework ? As said each manufacturer has their own guides, but a good rule of thumb is 1.5x the working pressure of the system, so heating and rad pipe work 4.5 bar.

How to Plumb a new tile rail / radiator for idiots.

The bit of copper that gets punched NEVER stays attached to the pipe, yes it may at first but give it a couple of months and it will on it's way around the system. There's a few other problems that this may or may not cause as well. You may struggle to balance the system properly, as those...

    How a combi boiler works?

Abuse comes in many forms, some could consider your unhelpful, unqualified and just plain wrong advice to be a form of abuse. I've seen no cowardice or bullying going on. Why do you continue to advise people on a subject you know nothing about ? What good does it do anyone ? And before...

    changing air vent on rad

Yes turn the valves off or you will get loads of water flying out. It's worth draining some water off the rad as even with the valves off the water inside is still under pressure until it's relieved.

    Underfloor heating

Hows the system plumbed/wired ?, it should have a seperate valve for the UFH manifold, and setup so that the underfloor can fire the boiler independantly of the rads

    Underfloor heating

What do you mean by Tee'd in ? Underfloor is much slower to react than radiators, and if the UFH circuit has just been Tee'd in the the flow and return then that's probably why it isn't working properly. It should be sized properly, and if the space is large enough split into circuits. Set...

Does This Price Sound Okay (Combi Boiler Replacement)?

Well except me  Dan's point is being completely missed, margin is a very important factor to a business. When I look at my figures, the first one I look at isn't turnover or even profit, its GPM followed closely by NPM. The only way to judge if a price is fair is to look at...

Does This Price Sound Okay (Combi Boiler Replacement)?

That's a very sweeping statement, is re washering a tap in a hotel any different to re washering a tap in a house. Think about it.
