I personally wouldn't fit a Stuart Turner pump, because they have sub contractors who will come and inspect your work if you have a problem, if its your problem, you will be charged an exextoranatemount for your mistake. Try Salamander pumps, much better service

Fit pump and take pipe into roof space and terminate in gutter :wink:

Check your soil pipe for a fitting called an Air Admittance Valve, AAV Maybe some one can post a picture of one ? These sometimes stick open and allow sewer gases int0 the property It will be on 2nd floor more than likely

Just don't buy anything off Stuart/Turner. Their pumps are carp.
