Did you see "101 things removed from the human body&quo

:D Actually I did watch some of it but it got a bit too grisly for me so I turned it off. It did bring home, or rather serve to remind, how easily accidents can happen. I was once trapped under twelve 8 x 4 one inch ply boards that had been stacked badly (err... by me as it happens :( )...

Not quite square edged worktop joins

That's probably your best bet but make sure you set it to almost minimum cut. Take a fraction more off the bottom of the worktop than the top (and I do mean a fraction) and you should get quite tight joints. You'll probably need to rout out for the connector bolts but you can do that...

Not quite square edged worktop joins

If your worktops are already the right length then no, a jig and router will not help. You need some excess on the end to rout the joints. :(

    Choice of hedge trimmers

What???? You took your mum's body apart and rewired it? Bit harsh innit?

Not quite square edged worktop joins

If I've followed you correctly, and I'm not missing something obvious, I can't see why you cannot use a worktop jig and router? :?

    apples and oranges

    Cable routing

Been, done, t-shirt etc. :( If you can get someone to hold a vacuum nozzle close it makes a big difference. Also I use diamond discs now, a bit dearer but having used them you'll not use the old type again. Blinkin brilliant they are.

    Hairline cracks in old plaster

I agree having wasted many an hour recently filling and sanding some walls only to have most of the cracks show through (barely but visible) afterwards. I lined, I painted, I was happy once more.

    railway sleepers!

If you must use a chainsaw and you are inexperienced with them then I would recommend an electric one only, and certainly not up a tree (use a bowsaw). Usually all that happens with those (from my own experience) is the chain comes off the drive wheel, Sounds alarming but isn't really as it...

Nailer for fencing and garden projects

To do what you want you will need to spend approx £75-£90 on an air stapler that will take at least 40mm staples. Got one myself and it was well worth the money. The cheaper nail guns that fire 50mm brads aren't really that useful.

    WARNING VIRUS/WORM

Yeah, you get that familiar BSOD.   Just kidding. You're pretty much correct in all you say but, I'd also add that MS have a knack of buying, stealing or otherwise obtaining perfectly good stuff and, like Hospital cooks, by the time it comes to table it's buggered...
