    Ronseal Professional Varnish equivalent?

A couple of years back I used some of this stuff on a couple of doors. It went on quite well and has held up really well. So I wanted to do a couple more doors, some stair banisters and the inside of a velux with it. It seems they no longer supply it? Here's the stuff I used...

Best paint for stairs, landing and main bedroom?

Thanks. Yes. Would use a cheap mist coat or two. I take it the LG stuff still needs two coats?

Best paint for stairs, landing and main bedroom?

Thanks again. Its really hard to judge to amount if paint needed as there's lots of funny shaped walls. Its a medium sized mid terrace with a set of stairs, a small landing, then a small set of stairs, then the double attic bedroom.

Ah thanks. Our stairs are quite narrow and fairly high traffic with the two little ones. Is the absolute matt still good enough?

We have a velux that is the pine and lacquered finish. Its a good few years old and needs a tidy up. I am presuming I can sand back and just stain? Will that be ok? And recommendation bearing in mind its going to have a lot of sun and close to the elements

Best paint for stairs, landing and main bedroom?

I can see go wall paper sell it, but seems to be £75 for 5 litres? £62 would be much better. I guess I need to work out the amount I need and price it up.

Is this the bonds stuff? http://www.decoratingdirect.co.uk/viewprod/b/BONDF/ How quickly can it be painted over and will it blend in to the stone? Can it be used ok in the large chunk missing from the top of the window in the picture?

    easiest way to strip wallpaper

Cheers. I will give the good soak method a try first. The steamer worked well when I stripped the kitchen but it was a bit messy (and steamy!).

Best paint for stairs, landing and main bedroom?

Thank you. We need around 15 litres I think, so the little Greene is coming out very expensive. Unless there is a trade place any cheaper? Sounds very good though.

Best paint for stairs, landing and main bedroom?

Sorry. Got so much going on I forgot I already asked! Last time I asked for advice on paint choice, I got some good suggestions and was hoping for the same. Not sure the endura or permawhite is really suitable? You mention not using a matt? That would be my preference but I see the point...

    easiest way to strip wallpaper

Have a stairs, landing and master bedroom we need to strip. I think its just one layer of paper but quite a large area. We have a simple steamer with a wallpaper stripper attachment that's worked fairly well in the past. What's the best way to do this? Just use the steamer? Or are any of the...
