Yes it is an oil cooler, most Auto's have an oil cooler built into the rad. Get it flushed with a good rad flush, or remove and have a steam clean. One thing are you sure your Auto gearbox is 5 speed? QF Edit........ Not a bad idea to change the Automatic fluid as this can cause problems...

It still could be a wheel brg. Jack up your car and put one hand on the top of the wheel, and place your other hand at the bottom of the wheel, then rock the wheel to see if there is any play. As have been said check the engine mount. Don't think it's your CV joint.

NO,NO.NO. Never put a babys seat in the front of a car. Far better to be put in the rear. Just ask the experts they will tell you the same. I know people think you can keep an eye if the babys in the front, but it can lead to a distraction.

55 Amp/ 65/75 are the normal ratings. Depending on the spec.

Why not get a Saxo. Cheap insurance, It's got the street cred. A good all-round car. I bought my son one, his first car, it's a 1999, I bought through the trade and got a good deal. You should be able to pick up a good one for between £1500, £2000. Good luck Quick Fit

It's an electrical switch, When you select reverse a contact is made. You can test with a wire and a bulb to see if there is a circuit. If not just get a new switch from the Reno garage

unlikely to be a head gasket. It's possible the timing is out.

Un-burnt fuel. Try new Glow plugs . If that doesn’t work it could be quite a few things. Cheeper in the long run to go to a small garage and ask them to do a emission test. Lets hope it's not the pump :lol:

I think your car has an automatic choke, so it could be one or two problems. Check the vacuum hose to see if there are any leaks. It could also be a mixture problem, to Rich, or to Lean. You could also take it to a small garage, and let them have a look Without looking at your car is not easy...

No the colour is normal. You can drain the water out and then flush out with Rad-Flush, and refilll with a summer coolent. If the temp is around half way it should be ok, unless it used to be so much lower. QF

If you have fuel injection it could be the Throttle Attenuator module. Quick Fit

Change the Brake Fluid, has it ever been changed? after a few years it can get water in the fluid. If it has been changed, try bleeding the system.

On the back of the lock there is a plastic clip. a small rod clips in to this. so you need the right side. For a barrel lock go to a main dealer, or if an old car, a breakers yard, scrap yard.

Why not just buy a barrel lock kit, not to expensive. You could just swap over the barrel from the N/S to Drivers side, but only the barrel as part of the mechanism will be on the wrong side.
