if you turn hot water on at clock and turn cylinder stat up does boiler fire ? if not u need to check that a switched live is actualy being sent by the time clock

still sounds to me as thou flue is only just sealing.if it continues ask your guy to check how far inner flue is going into boiler seal. the collar has a taper which if in right allows more of the inner pipe to enter .the reason its gets less when warm is probably expansion hence sealing better

is it just as the gas ignites if so get gas pressures checked.only thing else have known to cause this is on a vertical flue installed faulty.with ally collar upside down n after awhile u get crossover on the flue

if pressure rising and u not filling it.either fill loop is passing or plate exchanger passing from one to other.turn off cold supply to boiler if it still rises its the fill loop

does it have a pipe stat fitted on the flow wired to the frost stat

open briefly see if gauge moves then reshut

sounds like frost protection kicking in and preheat.both as should do. fit a pre heat dis kit and try lagging boiler plus pipes better.would love to hear from ideal re problems with latest ideal isar but as usual no comments

check sensor is auctaly attached in right place

have u reopened the flow and return valves ? try taking pressure a bit higher sometimes these pressures switches are a bit sensitive.or failing that drain boiler check for debri in the pressure switch then fill boiler again.if u are sure pressure is right short 2 connections at pressure switch...

no i agree but the price of three phase commercial is much cheaper hence often used in offices ect at commercial buildings

they do seem to be much more to run than gas.they are used mainly where gas supply is not available or commercial where 3 phase is available

when u have to repressurise the boiler where is all the trapped air?.usualy its in the nearest rad to the leak

water is meant to dribble from the screw cover it is to allow you to bleed air from pump just close it when done .all pumps will have a different resistance reading expect anything in the region of 100 ohms to 200

after checking all controls and stats are set to ask for heat and are high enough

do you have any old rads with pipes feeding top on one side and bottom on the other
