Trade counter assitant at plumbers merchants

At least you won't have to worry about knackering up your knees! To be fair though a lot of people at merchants have a very good knowledge of plumbing, especially when it comes to fittings e.t.c, so you could learn quite a lot.

Am I being ripped off? Powerflush realy necessary?

£500 - £700 for a power flush? Jesus, you either work for BG or you have an inflated opinion of how much work is actually involved in a power flush. Fair enough if you can get away with charging that much but imo thats a very high price especially if it's just on a standard 3/4 bed house.

A gold amex :D I don't disagree with you, i was just stating that governments always have and always will have a debt and borrow money. The problem is we're borrowing too much at the moment.

We've always had debt and always will. It's not a new thing that has suddenly happened in the past few decades. It's just that we've got a massive budget deficit that is pushing up the total debt. We'll never end up with zero debt. http://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/uk_debt

    car insurance rip off

These ambulance chasing lawyers and 'claims management companies' need to be outlawed. I still get phone calls now about an accident 2 years ago which has been resolved and there were no injuries to anyone. It's a joke. It's so easy to do as well, you just pretend you had whip lash for a few...

    News from foreign shores.

Did you actually note what context that was written in? I said religion has died out because over the past 100 years we've become more prosperous. Are you seriously telling me that we haven't got more prosperous than we were in 1900? If so your the one who's living on a different planet. In 1900...

    News from foreign shores.

I think it will eventually. It's almost died out in this country over the past 100 years. How many young people are now religious and attend church regularly? Hardly any. It's no coincidence that it coincides with the country becoming more prosperous and people becoming educated.

    News from foreign shores.

Everybody knows that that part of the world is a little backwards. They aren't educated in the way we in the west are and there society is hundreds of years behind us. I'm not defending their reaction at all, but surely the yanks should take a bit of care sometimes, especially seeing as they're...

I never said we did. I've repeatedly said that immigration was far too high under labour because of the e.u which we can't do anything without leaving it completely. I'm for controlled immigration but not a free for all, whereas a few on here seem to be against immigration full stop. Anyway...

[/url] So i'm naive for stating facts? Unlike the majority on here. Wow, shock horror some immigrants have commited benefit fraud. What's the chances of that eh? Not a single white British person has ever commited benefit fraud have they  Just because some have committed benefit...

That's only because of the E.U. For non E.U citizens there is a points based system like Australia. Unfortunately thanks to previous governments there's little we can do to stop the free movement within the E.U. Anyway that's beside the point. What i meant was that it's ironic that lots of...

Except the people who 'fall of the trucks' aren't normal immigrants now are they? They're either asylum seekers or illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants can't claim benefits for obvious reasons and asylum seekers are barred from claiming the majority of benefits. Normal immigrants can only...

And why is that then? Funny how everybody seems to be up in arms about immigrants, yet they never seem to mention the 100's thousands of Brits that go over to Australia/New Zealand/Canada every year. Aren't they 'stealing jobs'? Or what about the 10's of thousands of people that went to work...

What would your idea be then? Kick out all the non whites and all the rest of us pay more in taxes to cover the army of pensioners that is ever increasing? There is a reason why people like yourself don't have a say in government policy 8)

    I always thought...

I agree that immigration was out of control under labour. Especially when so many young Brits couldn't and can't now find work. However, Immigration is a fact of life and happens across the world. The sad fact is, without immigration this country is screwed. We have an ever ageing population who...

I don't get what your trying to say here. I'm not denying that it happened and that they were asian. They should be punished with a stretch inside. What i'm pointing out was your ridiculous stereotyping and your strange idea that we should deport somebody who was born and bread here and is a...

Well yeah it is nice actually. It's good not to be an ignorant, bordering on racist, fool like yourself. I'm in my 20's and from a town which has a large ethnic mionority. That mean's i've met thousands and known hundreds of asians. And guess what, they're all just the same as us. They just want...

There country of origin in still Britain though. Doesn't matter where their mum and dad were born. I know hundreds of asian people and none have dual citizenship as they're as British as you and i. Lets say a young lad of chinese ethnicity commits a crime. Should we deport him back to china...
