what model classic?if it was my house and the boiler was large enough i would keep it it will outlast 99% of newer boilers with some tlc 8)

you need to bone up on your boilers tony,xtramax only requires adjustment on gas valve :roll:

your first job should be change the main stopvalve,the problem is the jumper inside is loose,as the water stops it is bouncing about. the squeal will be the pressure increasing as the fliud master closes you could try a pressure reducing valve
