years ago we done a school,the plumber doing the drinking fountain run used everflux :shock: when the school kids returned some had severe upset stomachs which was traced back to the drinking fountains. their are two fluxes that will deposit blue bits in pipework if not flushed immediately...

powerfow flux does deposit bits in the pipework,you must of been very heavy handed with the application of the flux :shock: it also froths and bubbles coming out the taps.was the pipework sitting dry for a while ? if so the flux hardens and turns a greeny blue,once soldered it lays in the pipe...

have not been to the job yet.lockout is on burner not boiler,boiler runs fine until tempreture is reached so i would assume line and filter clear thanks.

got a phonecall today about an old oil burner,cust had ran out of oil and have had the tank refilled,since it was refilled the burner runs and fires up as soon as it reaches temp boiler locks out they reset it and it runs till it reaches temp then needs resetting and so on. boiler is approx 20...

that is my understanding as well,cly has to meet bs1566 to comply with part l.

use compression fittings,stagger the joints and it is easy.be very carefull with the blowlamp as the insulation damages very easily even with a good mat.
