easiest way to try it. is to set the system up, and activate the zone.

the attack light is a panic button. have you got a panic button? if you do it needs reset to clear the attack fault. as for the flashing tamper like you say its just a money thing. it doesn`t mean anything the flashing tamper. he`s just making sure he has to come back every year for your cash...

when you press the buttons on keypad do they make a noise?

usually on scantronic systems. you would put the code in to stop the noise and code again to reset. then your strobe should stop flashing

agree with above. your entering the wrong code. only way to get a new code now is to default the panel, unless you figure the code out. its easy to default it, but you would need to reprogram the system. so you need a engineer manuel.
