Texecom R8+ - PA instead of Tamper?

wiring across the bell isn`t the best way i know this. but it has the same effect. infact there is a indication at the keypad. it would come up with a bell tamper. but like i say you still need a key to reset the pa. it will still sound outside/inside like a pa should. it was only a suggestion...

Texecom R8+ - PA instead of Tamper?

another way you could keep your pa button , is to wire it into the bell sab. so when you press the pa it will ring outside only . won`t ring inside though. plus to stop the bell ringing you would just have to reset the panic button. you wouldn`t need to touch the keypad. just a idea for you

    accenta stuff any good?

the ade stuff was pretty reliable. easy to fit/program. but since honeywell have bought them over ive never used there stuff. have a look at the risco/texecom range. both are very good.
