Hi, Ive just done mine, i used the 8x2 floor board from b&q. My loft joist are also 3x2 but I added 2x2. Mine seems fine, only used for light storage.

How about just changing part of the fence, say the back part, then fence the garden off so tour dog can only move around have for the garden.

Hi, Sorry for a slow reply, its a bracket that screws to the ceiling then the light sort of clips onto the bracket. It's got screws and plugs with the light, it's going on a plaster board ceiling, am i best just screwing its up?

Hi, I've bought some new ceiling lights, I've read the instructions and it says I need a no.8 size drill bit. This may sound daft but is a no.8 size drill bit 8mm? If not are these drill bit easily available? I've only noticed drill bit sizes in mm. Thanks Dan

Hi, Every time I mix paste it ends up lumpy, I normally pour the dry mix in to a bucket then add water an mix, today tho I started with the water an poured in the dry mix, no difference in results. Thanks Dan

Hi, sorry about the slow reply, I've put down 100mm insulation, my joists are 75mm so I should have roughly 25mm gap. I'm only boarding half of my loft for storage, the rest of the loft will get extra insulation
