Wrong. If you are charging at 7kW then you are adding 7kWh per hour of charging - not 7kW. So my point about kWh per hour is completely accurate. But kW per hour makes absolutely no sense and is an abomination.
Precisely. Which is why it's incredibly obvious that the ones on the white label are the ones connected to the RCCB. Not sure why most here are pretending that it is some sort of impossible guess. It's extremely obvious.
Hager SPDs display light red for fine and dark red for needing replacement, so really it depends what you mean by it displaying red in the indicator window.
I'm surprised no-one else has pointed this out to you.
No it isn't justifiable. There should be a reward for reduced environmental impact. Also never before has free tax been changed. Therefore it is my right to have free road tax for life for that electric van.
Unfortunately the intelligent tariffs such as Octopus Intelligent Go don't exist here. The only off-peak tariffs are Economy 7. (1a.m. to 8a.m. GST (i.e. 2a.m. to 9a.m. during Daylight Savings.) Even those advertised as "EV" tariffs are simply Economy 7 here.
I didn't say it was the same cost as Diesel (although the road tax unjustifiably is). My point was that the cheapest nighttime rate here is over double of that in Britain. Basic reading comprehension would have ascertained that.
Hardly a honeymoon when I'm being taxed the same as a Diesel van. I would call it rape. We also don't have the 7p/kWh night-time rate here, but the cheapest is over double that.
