Same in sainsburys and tescos. I bought 2 tins of roses in sainsburys for £9 for both, popped into tesco the day after, and they were doing them at a much higher price. Popped back into tesco a couple days after, and Lo and behold, tescos were doing them also for £9 for 2 tins.

Woodchip is not the easiest paper to strip, specially if the paper has been painted with a Silk paint. Its just a matter of patience, time and effort. Try and score the paper from top to bottom with big crisscrosses, you can buy a score thingy, but I have always used a knife to score...

Did you wash the paste residue off the ceiling with SugarSoap, and did you give it a good sand down? As the existing paint has come off under the new paint, you will see the difference in the layers of paint. Your best bet is to give the ceiling a light rub down, as you have already...

All good advice there, :D but I will just tell you what I would do regarding the flaky peeled bits of the plasterboard. The problem when the PB is ripped/torn/flaked, is that when you try and sand it down it will rip/tear up again, not everywhere on the PB, but it will happen somewhere along...

Noooo, dont use nails cortina lol, use bluetak, and if you have trouble getting the bluetack off, then dab it with a bit of white spirit, no tear marks, no peeling of paint either.
