    Conundrum: Ravenheat or Biasi?

For a real budget boiler you can't go far wrong than the Sabre (Vokera) 25HE...........£430 inc VAT, flue and timer! Ive seen a few of these and their Vokera counterparts and they are not a bad piece of kit for the money. Other than the odd venturi clean out they don't give mych trouble.

Request for advice on dealing with faulty motorised valve.

The valve you have is a Drayton valve............you can just replace the motor (about £10.00) or the whole head (about £30). The BG valves are very good valves, no issue with quality there.

Not an expensive job at all...i buy the part for £11.64 and it comes with everything. O rings, clips, washers, screws the lot. The Worcester rep said they were delibratly selling the part ar near cost to try to stop a future backlash from when the sh*t hits the fan. Not a bad job at all on...

    New Baxi Back Boiler

Its a flexible concentric flue, dropped down like a traditional flue liver with pre fromed plastic flue terminal. It comes in 10 or 12m lengths. Its very much like a tumble dryer vent.

    New Baxi Back Boiler

Band A.......to be fair they look a decent piece of kit........yes they are expensive. ive just priced one and got a price of £1230 + VAT with a Valor dream electric fire but I suppose the old back boiler were expensive as your purchasing a boiler and a fire and a 10m flue kit!

Removing Hepworth HBP15 slimline straight connectors

It wont have been expanded by a plumber...it will be the pre formed tails that came with the basin tap. Just hacksaw the fitting off, ensuring that the copper tails are not marked (once you cut one side of the fitting you can split it apart to pull it off)....when done just use two new fittings...

    vokera linea 28

If you haven't checked the gas rate/working pressure already to ensure the pressure is correct then you have not commissioned the boiler. You therefore appear not competent to be installing them!!
