and how I can sort it out? can I just skim over it or would browning then skim be best? also its a bathroom wall if that makes a difference.

This is my design for a wardrobe im constructing
how's best to finish the front? i want the doors to be roughly flush with the wall and dont like the look of wood filling in to the rest of the wall.

Hi, i'm building a partition wall / frame for a wardrobe, the frame will be made from 1 1/2" timber.
Can anyone point me towards the best fixings to use for fixing to brick/block, floorboards and ceiling joists?
If your going to do it in two halves, you can stagger your joints so its less visable. Sort of like /\/\/\/\/\
the eye cant follow a line like that as easy as a straight one.
Yeah, gypsum plaster is used in this house.

Im pretty handy with a trowel, but might not bother with a finish coat if i can just put the frame straight over the top.[/img]
