    Advice on my pipe size.

Actually I by flow I was thinking in terms of velocity - i.e. a needle side pipe with water flowing at 1 metre/sec will provide colder water than a 22mm pipe flowing at 1 metre/sec (but of course the 22mm pipe would fill the bath much quicker). Of course with the 22mm pipe you have a lot more...

    Advice on my pipe size.

Smaller pipe = greater surface area to cross section ratio, so greater heat loss at the same flow rate

    Y Plan

Make sense as more water will be going around the heating circuit so the return temp at the boiler will be lower so boiler won't cycle off and on so frequently. If bypass was open too far before it would have prevented sufficent water going around the heating circuit - have you noticed the...

    A complex problem?

Most people come here to improve their knowledge and probably do a better job as a result. If people show signs of lack of understanding they are often told that they don't seem competent and to leave the work to a spark. HVMAN - If you are serious about stopping people killing themselves...

    TV in a bathroom

Put a window in the wall through to the back of the cupboard then mount TV in the cupboard. Seems easier and safer than trying to build an enclosure.
