    If you won’t see it (if it’s getting rendered if it’s the outer leaf or plasterboarded over it being the inner) I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

    To me that’s a no brainer then get it delivered with probably 1 or 2 guys bringing it round for you (whilst you hold the rake obviously) with zero mixing required.(y)(y)

    I’d price getting concrete delivered and barrowed round if possible. Sometimes cheaper, quicker and saves you mixing it.

    Don’t know about down south but up in Scotland most buildings are joined with wall starters now don’t see many getting toothed out at all. Sure it’s because of new foundations settling and causing cracking etc

    Looks to me he’s started a bit lower than the original building and is trying to bed up to catch the height....if he’s just built that corner I can’t see why he’s not just removed the broken brick and replaced it?? Would be a 5 min job.....kind of rough are you paying him top rate???

    Hey guys. What's a good sand lime mix for repointung a bit of old soft sandstone? Also it looks like it has been built with sharp sand and lime mix is this how I should go about it? Last question is it hydrolic or hydrated lime?? Thanks
