    yeah as above. i did mine the other month and thought long and hard where water could get too even in the wind and put extra felt in as precaution in certain spots. Id say get them to change it for the long run...

    nope u have to remove the DHW heat exchanger and filling loop etc.. not too bad if methodical but if no experiance then leave alone :!:

    if vessel is failed it will increase dramatically when the heating does eventually work. as nowhere to expand so the pressure builds up u see. Leave some air in half a rad till u get a new vessel if so. 8)

    if the bathroom is smart enough then coving anint gina wreck it I cant see people coming in going OOO how nice but look at the coving!! OR VISE versa..nice bathroom but shame no coving :lol:

    not sure but personally i always a good HI modulas silicone. The stuff recommeded for bathrooms is sually naff and acrylicy- although i havnt tried them all.

    i think the lierature has not been thought out..plastic is as good as copper now anyway in most cases. Ina wall cemented in prob better as corrosion resistant

    yes domestic are allowed up to U16 now.. as boilers get gigher outputs the need for more gas is making the need for meters bigger.

    yeah well thats what i told him unless a better option. Plus kitchen tap is furthest away so will have more heat loss by the time it gets there for the forst few mins. thanks guys

    My dad has a worcester 24i which of course has only one knob for the heating. The shower he finds ok but he would like more heat for the washing up, as there is no front stat control for the HW can this be done on the board in anyway? I dont have a book and at the mo CBA unwiring the boiler...

    Peugeot 206 Strange Noise

    wonder if a grommet has come out the bulk head and your hearing sounds that u usually wouldnt :? My DC2 popped a grommet and sounded like a hose had split but was just engine noise hissing through to the foot well etc... :x :lol:

    Choosing a new boiler

    Fit the remeha. Great bit of kit. End of the day its their 7th generation condensing boiler, most manufactures are on their 1st or 2nd. The boiler has been engineered not designed and its quality. Just been on a course for the remeha and i fitted one a few weeks ago- very impressed...
