    anyone sealed block paving?

I've used a product called thompson clear sealer it's great, you can brush paint or spray it on. First coat soaks in let dry and reapply. I've also used it on brick work like chimmineys where you have a lot of water from rain soaking in.

best way to increase water pressure

True but such a long length of 2" hose creates a lot of drag in the hose so he really only has a 1" flow, now reduce it at source and he only has a trickle of starting pressure. He has to shorten distance from source to turbine.

best way to increase water pressure

Only way I know is to build a large resivoir at turbine end , then have small outlet to turbine . Head of water close to turbine with large surface area plus weight of water will make pressure.

    Getting rid of pigeons

First check if the neibours are feeding them, their there for a reason. You can put a speaker in the tree and make a tape of a gun shot going off every two minutes, this will make them move on. they hate sharp noise. This is what they do at the airports.

Postcrete as a filler (for crazy paving)

I believe postcrete contains stone as well as cement and sand, if your patio cracks are small you might be better to use cement-sand mix. Also no feathering of edges if you are driving on it, it will break, 2 inches thick is best.

    Washing line dilema!

There is a retractable line where you attach one end to a pole or your house, the other end to some other fixed point on a hook. You stretch it out to use and retract when not , it will extend up to 50-60 feet. It will hold about 40 lbs. of wet clothes.
