    Honeywell programmer

Have you checked that the front panel is firmly pushed and secured into the back plate, or for a loose live wire? There are several models that will fit straight onto the existing back plate, including Honeywell's current version of that programmer (ST9400c I think) should you decide to replace.

    Shower help

If you can remove the valves from the wall, strip them down and clean. Often works, though I realise that is probably easier said than done!

    Flexible pipes and push-fit pipes

...because it breaches the exemption conditions for conservatories meaning that pp should be obtained. Anyway CBF you can't just go saying things like that, littlejohnwayne2 might think you were telling him something!!

    Flexible pipes and push-fit pipes

I'm not telling anyone anything, except that, this site has rules and giving good information and not using personal insult are two of them. I assume you got your information about me from the same place you get your other dodgy information. As it happens I am gas registered, not "ticket...

    Flexible pipes and push-fit pipes

The world will end eventually! The basis of this web site is that information is given in good faith and based on any pertinent regulations. For example information is not given regarding questions about gas/combustion on boilers. It is the case that there are certain considerations...

Oso direct 20 RD unvented water heater - not a happy wife

Assuming you do have a direct cylinder you won't have the coil - just 2 immersions. These are wired separately to double pole switches. If you have off-peak supply the bottom one is wired to that and the top one to the normal tariff. If you don't have off peak wire each to separate...

    Flexible pipes and push-fit pipes

Because heat loss is so high from a conservatory regs don't allow it. Ideally the conservatory should have its own heat source eg electric heaters. really you're not supposed to tee off your existing system, at least, as I say use isolation valves and trv's. Sorry that's a bit of a...

Oso direct 20 RD unvented water heater - not a happy wife

It says direct in the thread title. Presumably only the upper immersion is working?

    Installing a dish washer

As I say, fit an NRV (if it doesn't have one already) and that should be ok. Unless the spigot has a blank pushed into it drilling is the easiest option I would say. You could slice it off below if that left enough to attach the waste pipe to.

    Flexible pipes and push-fit pipes

Pipe is not your main problem. Radiators should not be fitted in conservatories really. If you're going to then you need to install a means of isolating it from the rest of your system. Ideally it would be a separate zone with its own stat. On pipes; having considered the above, plastic...

    Installing a dish washer

The cold feed can be as long as you like. The waste should not be run along the floor and up to the spigot. If you have to run it along the floor fit a non-return valve. Not sure how it will feel about being 2.5m long... Yes, drill out the spigot would work!

Have you removed the black O ring that is in there originally?

CORRECT LOCATION OF TWIN IMPELLER PUMP FOR MIXER SHOWER

The instructions will also tell you that the water supplies must be air free ie you cant just fit the pump in line to the existing pipe work. You need to supply the pump hot water via either a warix or Essex type flange and with a separate supply from the cold water cistern. Your cold water...

    Adding an extra radiator

Yes, you'll need two tee's though! Flow and return.

Can I fit a wall-hung toilet to Marmox board?

Usually you would set the frame and then install the cistern, soil and pan hanger bolts into it. Once you are happy all is in correct position fit the board in place to conceal frame; the hanger bolts, obviously, protrude through the board and the nuts tighten up to the pan once you've hung it...

Can I fit a wall-hung toilet to Marmox board?

This frame must be securely installed against a solid wall. Any board used does not bear any significant load. Remember to include a way of accessing cistern etc after tiling...

    Fitting outside tap

No, as long as you fit a double check valve and isolation valve; as you would when connecting to any other supply.

Can I fit a wall-hung toilet to Marmox board?

If you mean as you tighten the toilet pan against it? Then no it wont. If you tighten a single nut up to it without a washer, then quite possibly; probably, even.

    Building Regulation Compliance certificates

You need to insist that your installer notifies the boiler install properly. Gas Safe may be making it sound sensational but what they say about your insurance is true. The installer must notify the installation through the Gas Safe website, for example, this is then 'passed' on to...
