    Taking out a wall.

    Your prob Ok to take it down seeing as everyone else has!! However the routine thing to do is strip a few floorboards or whatever along the whole length of the wall (upstairs) to ensure nothing is bearing on it before you go ahead with ripping it down. Marty

    Radiators will not bleed

    If its an airlock turn off all the rads except one of the ones that isnt bleeding, fire the boiler and open the bleed screw..more often than not works,(however you really should finish the bleeding with the pump turned off. Marty

    Sounds like pump/circulation..did u try turning up the speed of the pump?? Also turn off all rads except the ones that arent heating and see if they heat as said by someone else above Marty

    Just remember to leave a bit of space around the pipe and youll be fine, as it heats and cools it will expand and contract and could crack plaster if directly in contact with it Marty

    Agree with vinty, However if you put down say 18mm OSB with the corrugated stuff on top(no membranes) you should have a very strong and long lasting roof. Did this on my mums garage 10 years ago and its working a treat. Marty.
