Wiring Pyronix Belle to Honeywell Accenta Gen 4

The total maximum current output of the panel when in alarm is 1A. The total current draw for the whole system works out at 919 mA when in alarm, so I am just inside the limit. I can achieve the 919 mA draw by setting the Reson8 as an SCB (70 mA instead of 360 mA when in alarm).

Wiring Pyronix Belle to Honeywell Accenta Gen 4

I hear what your saying Hoover - although as she has already purchased the kit I have no choice of using the same sounder. The current draw for each of the devices is shown below:

Wiring Pyronix Belle to Honeywell Accenta Gen 4

Thank you Hoover and Lectrician for your replies. It's good to have some advice from people who know their stuff. The grey wire I didn't mention because it's the one I knew I had got right :-) I will put a link between TF and B- as advised. I will be fitting a Reson8 bell box at the back...

Wiring Pyronix Belle to Honeywell Accenta Gen 4

Good Evening. I am going to be fitting an alarm for a friend, and I wish to use the existing bell box from the previous system that was fitted. The bell box is a Pyronix Belle, and the new control panel is a Honeywell/ADE Accenta Gen 4 Mini. I would like some guidance on which terminals on...

Old Crown Trade paint tin wanted

I got a copy of the Love Thy Neighbour film, but unfortunately the tins in it are Crown Plus Two and not Crown Trade. Thank you for the pointer though nonetheless, any suggestions are always appreciated.

Old Crown Trade paint tin wanted

Here is another example of three of the type of design of tins I'm talking about. If anyone gets sight of one - please let me know. I just need to know what the instructions and 'Health & Safety Information' panel on the back say.

Old Crown Trade paint tin wanted

Thanks for your reply. I noticed that B&Q were selling the 'Crown Originals' range, and although the logo on the top front of the cans is the same they are altogether different. They are similar to the retail versions that used be called 'Crown Plus Two' back in the day, and so are not the...

Old Crown Trade paint tin wanted

Yeah, the WPM tins are just a tad old for what I'm after :). Thanks for the reply though.

Old Crown Trade paint tin wanted

Hello. Mods - please feel free to move this post to another section if this is not the correct place for it. I know this may be a long shot but after seeing some 1960 and 1970's Crown and Berger paint for sale on ebay, I thought I would post and ask on the forum here. I am looking for...

    Puma 100 issues

Thanks for your replies so far. I'll keep my eye on that microswitch. The PCB was replaced with a reconditioned one about a year and a half ago as the old one burnt out (top left as usual). The currently fited recon PCB had dry solder on the same area and was resoldered about a month after...

    Puma 100 issues

Ah, it's just that my landlord advised me he was going to get the thermocouple replaced as he thinks it's that. (As the last time he had an engineer visit he said it was going and hence used the 'workaround' described above). As yet, I've got home from work and no-one's been yet. Sitting with an...

    Puma 100 issues

Afternoon folks. I am back once again with a Puma problem! I won't be carrying out any work as my landlord has an excellent gas engineer, but I like to find out what the cause(s) of the problems are with my boiler so that I can ensure the engineer addresses the correct areas. (My landlord...

    Ceiling Hook - advice please

 All joking aside though, I would imagine that swings and hammocks to some extent probably need a similar sort of sturdy fixing to what I'm after? Again, seeing as I don't have access to the floorspace, the best I can think of is screwing a 4'' eyebolt into the centre of a joist (perhaps...

    Ceiling Hook - advice please

Thanks, that sounds like a very good idea. One problem that I have though is that I live downstairs, and so don't have access to the floorspace from above. BTW - my celing aren't really that high, but you don't need a lot of height to get used to descending. :)

    Ceiling Hook - advice please

Hi. I want to install a hook in my ceiling for the purposes of abseil training. Essentially I thought about getting a pair of eyebolts and screwing them into a joist. Once fitted, I could thread the rope through the eyes and attach it to a harness. Any fixings would need to support a minimum...

    Puma 100 Flame Problems

Thanks for the info guys, it's just nice to have an idea of what may cause it.

    Puma 100 Flame Problems

I wish my landlord would replace it! The gas engineer he uses is very good, but my landord is too stingy to replace it so just keeps getting things fixed on it as they fail.

    Puma 100 Flame Problems

Hi. Like many people, I have a dodgy Potterton Puma 100. The issue I have is this: When I turn on the hot tap and there is a demand for HW at the Puma, sometimes the burner will not ignite, I can just hear loads of clicking and then the pilot will be extinguished due to the burner not...
