    Sottini toilet

The seat looks slightly different on the Santorini - https://www.specifysottini.co.uk/catalogue/sottini/wcs/close-coupled/santorini-ellipse-closed-coupled-wc-suite_p3635.html The Sottini site has all the measurements for each toilet - Suggest you use that to confirm.

Screw size in Roca flush button?

Is it one of these screws with those buttons. If so you can have that screw as I've just replaced some buttons and and now have a spare screw! For reference - diameter 7.5mm, length 25mm (so I'm guessing try an M8 x25mm)

    DIY Bath panel

That is excellent. My bath panel and panel under shower are looking a bit dated and I've been thinking of replacing. You know what I might have a go at that when I get a bit of time. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Unvented Cylinder vs. Combi

Right that's it I'm replacing my new combi... it was bad enough with the toilet refusing to flush when the missus is in the shower, now I'm living in fear of Hydrocution.

    Battery life

My view exactly. My Insignia has been a bit sluggish starting over past few weeks and when I went to start it on Saturday AM it was flat... I've charged it and it seems fine, but as it's 6 years old and on original battery its getting changed this week.

    Unvented Cylinder vs. Combi

I understand the discussion. Was just commenting on the implication that you can only use one tap and that somebody could not flush the toilet if the shower was in use. As I said, utter rubbish.

    Cable thickness

Accepted  What I did men to say was --- Total Load without diversity = 14600w / 240v = 60.8A Even considering diversity that is about 11.5A for each oven + 16.2A for hob -- so just under 40A total. Or I guess you could calculate diversity on the combined figures which does put you...

    Unvented Cylinder vs. Combi

What utter rubbish. Yes if you don't have a thermostatic mixer the shower will get hotter, but it doesn't stop the toilet being flushed. And you can run more than one tap OK.

    Unvented Cylinder vs. Combi

Before the shower flow was poor and I was considering putting a pump in to help solve this. Afterwards the pressure was really great - though I'm spending more time in the shower now as it's much more enjoyable - just dreading my next water bill :D . I know that's not very scientific, but I'm...

Or I guess you could calculate diversity on the combined figures which does put you under the 32A. Personally I would have one cable...

    Unvented Cylinder vs. Combi

I went through this decision making process a few months ago - similar setup with vented system - 4x bed, 2x ensuite, 1x bathroom, 14x rads ... It was a choice between unvented and combi and in the end I decided on a 40kw combi after the plumber checked the existing cold water flow - the...
