Recently built an extension to our kitchen, i.e. kitchen/sunroom. We have extractor fan in ceiling quite close to cooker. Must I also have a cooker hood? There is steel beam above cooker so requires to be a recirculating one but I am wondering if it really necessary considering we have the fan.
