    you can buy mdf screws id use some 2"6s or if you are new school 3.5 x 50mm depending on the style etc biscuits and/or dado joints could be worthwhile for a strong joint

    the panels and plynth are both oversize for scribing, iirc the worktop should be around 920mm high with a 38mm worktop, as a quide the legs usually are 150mm

    cut/fit the lintel first then cut the rest down. 2x 4x3 concrete lintels they need to be 4-6" longer each side of the opening for the frame, fit a std 4" casing and plasterboard the rest

    ive always used makita belts been ok, i have a makita sander if you can get festool belt to fit yours its well worth a try, i have a festool ros and the paper is good quality, lasts ages

    depending on your tooling, cut the skirting off with a multimaster if you dont have one you will have to scribe the plynth, with a jigsaw and downcutting blade if you dont have a jigsaw a good old coping saw

    depends on your budget really, id recomend the bosch gts135 of festool ps300, they both cut bang on, i also have a battery dewalt which is ok but not as good as the others edit to add, dont use cheap blades!!

    deffo take the hard work out of it i would buy a delta sander (small triangle head) or a multimaster with attatchments, finger sander etc also a 6" random orbit sander for doors/larger areas you can also buy little sanding drums that fit in a drill that may be handy for the spindels...
