Hi Firesec. thanks for the input, im kinda swayed by the Texecom range, as i want the com2400 so i will be texted in the event of an alarm. I take it any panel that can run the proximity tags will work how you say. I was looking at the Prem 24, however i rang Texecom to pick their brains...

interesting, does the tag go on your keyring? If so, a thief would have the keys to your house and the means to disarm the alarm if you lost them, unlike a pin code. Or am i been paraniod! Id like some more input on this if anyone can lend some advice :) Russ
