    Not that I know of .Internal joints would increase the risk of obstruction.You also need a wee bit more length on your present pipe .Prob the only way to go is try and fit McAlpine coupling and spray it silver, or make joint under floor.

    old water tank in loft - Safe to remove?

    If your going to cap off supply to tank best practice is to remove right back so you don't leave a "dead leg". My colleague is paranoid about leaving "dead legs" on supply pipes mumbles something about legionella.

    Mostly go and fit the bath 1st as more room to roll about on the floor,If stuck 4 time just shove old pan in position and tell em to flush it with a basin of water till next day.

    Several diff types of feet ,so if you cant get any to suit build the base of the bath with timber battens .Remember to tie bath onto wall as well. Done it before for a freebie for a mate .The tight wad bought it at a car boot sale,am sure it didnt match the rest of the suit. :wink:

    Male comp straight adaptor should fit or you can purchase replacements with compression ends at your local plumbers merchants, mind the male end that screws into tap comes in different sizes.

    How to fit an under basin ?

    Should have had brackets supplied .Best bet would be to go to a showroom or showhouse that has similar fitted and have a wee look .Think that bracket attaches to waste fitting then has adjustable leg to floor and a tie in to wall.

    Remove the tap head and then the bell shaped cover with any luck you may see a circlip has dislodged itself from the stem ,refit and normal sevice should be resumed.

    A stepped down multiquik should do the trick. ps you will be there for ever and a day if you gonny try and solder a pipe thats had water in it . Best suggestion for a DIY is to cut back pipe and just fit a (liked by some loathed by others) flexi.
