Key snapped in garage door lock.

Just noticed I can pull the timber away to reveal the screws for the hinges. I could hacksaw through them? Is this going to be easier than drilling?

    Wooden floor restoration?

What about these bits? I assume this was when my heating was installed. Should I just take the screws out and countersink them? I have a few large gaps, can I use the sandings and some resin type stuff? Mick

    Lining paper or skim?

It has a few cracks and holes that I will need to fill, so might just do this and then lining paper over. Its not really that badly damaged.

    Lining paper or skim?

Just took the wallpaper off and was going to skim but plaster looks ok in most places. We plan on painting the walls, should I skim (not done before) or use liner paper? Cheers,

    Insulate outhouse

I have just bought the Kingspan, Im going to screw to the rafters then stick polystyrene tiles on to it. Still not sure about the walls but dont want to do anything to the outside. I think I will do the same as the ceiling, screw some Kingspan to them then plasterboard.

    Insulate outhouse

I have had a change of plan. Im going to sill the gaps with expanding foam, then screw Kingspan to the rafters, then Im just going to finish it with polystyrene tiles! No need for any plasterboard. What do you think?
