    we had a lot of rain 2ish years ago, and it ran off the feild (other side of the fence), most went down a drain in the street, and some poured down the driveway and puddled up in the archway, was a good 2" deep, prob sunk from that!! thanks for help everyone

    Thanks for the replys, I'm not skilled in bricklaying at all so may take down the pillar, rebuild the fence (needs doing anyway) and sort the wall out. Can I just carefully take the bricks out without the wall falling down? Is there enough support? will prob need to take about 10 bricks...

    Not Quite sure what to do with this, basically the archway started to come apart due to the wall sinking ( not enough concete under it to support??) was worse today, and getting dangerous, as the postie usually leaves big parcels behind the house, dont want him to be killed by falling...

    ok i've just fitted a honeywell s plan system. The problem is when you select the heating to come on only, i.e the hot water selector is in the 'off' position, both the l.e.d's come on for hot water and heating?? and the same happens when you select hot water only. whatever you select, or set...

    just realised if I put the 3-port motorised valve at the tee after the pump the bypass loop will be after the motorised valve, so if the valve jams shut, there would be no place for the pumped water to go?? think i'll stick to the original plan with 2 motorised valves. anyone know what to...

    ok just read somewhere putting in the cold feed before pump will stop any problems like pumping over etc so the plan now is -move cold feed to before the pump -put auto bypass valve in place of gate valve in bypass loop -fit bleed valve where current cold feed pipe is to be cut -fit Y plan...

    yes would be better than having 2 motorised valves!! don't know why i didn't think of that. TWGAS yes that is the cold feed, (just had a look upstairs) the pipe furthest on left is the vent above tank, also there is a bleed valve above the pump if this is what you mean (circled in pic)...

    Hello, just moved into my first house, I have GHW and pumped heating, so when i want only hot water, the radiators get hot too! I want to modify the system so i can have individual controll of HW and CH. I was thinking of upgrading to a Honeywell S plan, (in the link below)...
